Hebrews 2:4 reminds us that God testifies to His Word through signs, wonders, and miracles, showcasing His power and His presence in our lives. After Jesus ascended, he promised he would not leave us alone. He sent the Holy Spirit, our Helper, to guide and empower us. The Holy Spirit enables us to live in alignment with God's will. When we repent and seek His forgiveness, we open the door for the power of the Holy Spirit to work in our lives. Jesus spoke of this power in Acts 1:8, saying, "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses..." Through the Holy Spirit, we are equipped to do His will, and when we align our lives with God, signs, wonders, and miracles follow.

God made a covenant with His people in 2 Chronicles 7:14, declaring, "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." This promise is still valid today. Our repentance and seeking God’s presence open the door for His power to move in our lives and bring transformation.

In addition to repentance, there are spiritual practices that align us with God’s will—fasting and taking part in Holy Communion. 

Jesus made it clear in Matthew 17:21 that some things are not possible without prayer and fasting. Fasting enables us to humble ourselves before God, seek His guidance, and receive His strength. Holy Communion reminds us of Christ’s death and resurrection, renewing our covenant with God and empowering us to live in His grace. As we partake in the body and blood of Jesus, we celebrate his sacrifice and acknowledge the power it holds to bring healing, deliverance, and victory.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the gift of the Holy Spirit, who empowers me to live according to Your will. I repent for the areas where I have fallen short and ask for Your forgiveness. Help me to walk in obedience to Your Word, and may signs, wonders, and miracles follow me as I do. Thank You for the power of fasting and Communion to bring me closer to You. In the Name of Jesus, I pray. Amen. 

Take time each day to examine your life. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal areas where you need to repent and align your life with God’s Word. Through fasting, prayer, and Holy Communion, seek to grow closer to God and receive the strength to walk in His will. When you are aligned with God, His signs, wonders, and miracles will follow you.
