You Are Worth

Revelation 12:11 (NIV)

“They overcame him [Satan] by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.”

Devotion

You are not worthless; you are washed. There is nothing so dirty that God cannot make worthy by the blood of Christ. The critical blow to Satan came when the Lamb, Jesus Christ, shed His blood for our sins—winning complete victory through His sacrificial payment of the penalty we deserve. He died in our place.

Your stain becomes your testimony, and God uses it to lift others up. Your past is part of your purpose. Your dirt is part of your destiny and your testimony. Your stain is part of your story.

God can use your story to pull someone out of the pit that hell has placed them in. The victory continues through the sacrifices we make because of our faith in Him. As we face the battle against Satan, we should not fear defeat or compromise with evil as a means of escape; instead, we should loyally serve Christ, who wins the battle for us.

When you come to God, He washes you with the blood of the Lamb and turns your past into your testimony.

Today's Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for providing a right standing before You through the blood of Your Son, Jesus. I am forever grateful for what You have done. Please help me share the story of Your grace with others and to be a light to those who do not know You. I ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen.
