Connections Team / Spanish Connections Team

The Spanish Connections team serve at the Spanish Connections table, before and after the 9AM and 11AM services. This team will set out the table and all supplies and signage for this area, oversee the distribution of the transmitters w/earbuds, receiving transmitters w/earbuds, cleaning transmitters w/earbuds with sanitizing wipes, keep track of check in/out, connect with the Spanish speaking community and help them get connected to our Spanish Connect groups, church information, Next Steps as well as Spanish speaking first time guests. First-time Guest CALL Team | OC

This team works together to make follow-up calls to all the FTGs. We check in to see how they are doing and if we can help get them connected and answer any questions they may have about Free Chapel. Each team member is assigned 10-20 calls per week. This opportunity can take place in the convenience of your home or office.

First-time Guest Team | OC

This team serves on Sunday mornings before and after services. We welcome FTGs, assists guests with the Welcome form, give out the FTG gift bag, escort FTG to the sanctuary. There is also an opportunity to serve during the week and prepare FTG gift bags.

Horizon Pregnancy Clinic Volunteer Group

Horizon Pregnancy Clinic educates, empowers, and supports women and men facing unplanned pregnancies. Volunteers will get to help mentor and serve onsite.

Men's Jail Ministry

This group partners with the Orange County Jail Ministry to mentor and minister in a small group bible study setting. Currently we have services monthly on Monday evenings in the City of Orange for a men's group. We will be starting a group for women monthly on Saturday evenings. There is an interview process and training to be eligible and cleared for this group. *Next steps and livescan required

OC Rescue Mission | Heather | Women's group

The Women's Outreach group at Orange County Rescue Mission gathers monthly to extend care and support to members of our community facing homelessness. This connect group serves as a platform for the women of Free Chapel to embody Christ’s love while strengthening their bonds with one another. Through activities such as organizing clothing donations and assisting in the cafeteria with food preparation and service, we aim to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need. *Next steps and livescan required.

Olive Crest | Supporting Foster Families

“Olive Crest transforms the lives of children and families in crisis through the healing power of God, family, and community.” Our mission with this group is to create genuine bonds with the children, fostering a joyful atmosphere where they can truly connect with the church family. Through shared meals, crafts, and engaging activities, we aim to cultivate an environment where lasting memories are made and cherished. 2nd Thursday of every month 5-7 pm *Next steps and livescan required

Orangewood Children | On-Site Serving

Orangewood Children's Home is a temporary shelter for children and teens between the ages of 2 days old to 18 years. Our Orangewood Outreach Team volunteers to facilitate engaging small-group activities paired with a snack, fostering meaningful and interactive experiences every 3rd Thursday in the evening. The group also collects and assembles gifts during the holiday season to put on a celebration for the children and teams at Orangewood. *Next steps and livescan required.

WISEPlace | Women's Group

To lead the effort of ending homelessness for unaccompanied women through housing solutions and empowering wrap-around services that provide a path toward personal self-reliance. In partnership with this organization, our ministry at Free Chapel dedicates itself to preparing and providing these women with a breakfast every last Sunday of the month.
