Many aspects of life compete for our interests, priority, and time. For someone committed to following Jesus as Lord, there is One thing that stands out above the rest: belonging to God. He places us in community. Our lives are woven together by Christ and our place in the body.

Our identity in Christ, and His in us, is likened to that of Zion. Zion, the city where God's heart continually rests, a city that resonates with His very own heartbeat, where He abides. Like the loving Father He is, He makes known to His children that His Heart's desire is to dwell in their midst. The Lord has chosen Zion, as He has chosen you!

We are His church. As Zion is Holy, we are to be Holy because He dwells in us. Psalm 87:3 says, "Glorious things are spoken of you, O city of God." As His church, we are to publicly acknowledge Him as Lord, praise & worship Him alone, preach His Word in Truth, and obediently follow His Law. As chosen ambassadors of our Lord, we are to be walking in a manner worthy of our calling, striving to magnify His Holy Name!

The Lord dwells in our corporate worship, and as His people are rooted and refreshed in Him alone. It is here where He is adored. It is here where He abides. It is here where His Voice is heard. It is here where we sit under open Heaven. "How awesome is this place! This is none other than the House of God, and this is The Gate of Heaven!" Genesis 28:17. The Lord has chosen Zion. Psalm 14:7 says, "Oh, that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion." From Zion comes the source of our Salvation, Faith, Messiah, and our Redemption. Jesus is calling you! Will you choose Him today?

Dear Heavenly Father,

I prioritize belonging to You and seek a Christ-centered community that reflects Your holiness. As Your chosen church, I commit to praising, obeying, and recognizing Your presence. In worship, I experience Your voice and Heaven's touch, drawing salvation through Jesus from Zion. Today, I choose to faithfully follow Him, magnifying Your Holy. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

Prioritize your relationship with God above all else, recognizing your identity in Christ and the importance of belonging to His church. Strive to live a holy and obedient life, actively participating in worship, preaching His Word, and following His teachings, allowing your life to reflect the glory of God's presence and magnify His Holy Name.
