God Wants What's Best For Us

2 Corinthians 12:14 NKJV
Now for the third time I am ready to come to you. And I will not be burdensome to you; for I do not seek yours, but you. For the children ought not to lay up for the parents, but the parents for the children.
Devotion
What kind of spiritual legacy do you want to leave for those who come behind you? Do you want to leave a legacy of blessings or curses? Because depending on how obedient a person is to the faith, they can leave blessings or they can leave curses. So what do you want to leave when you go home to be with the Lord? What kind of legacy of faith do you want to give those that come behind you? Do you want to give them something that they can be proud of where they can say to others that your faith is what you left behind?

For blessings come with obedience to the Lord and God will always bless us with the best. He does not want us to have what's good or better but the ultimate best in this life and the life to come.

Today's Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
I repent for the times I have neglected my faith and jeopardized the faith of those who look up to me. Help me to build a better faith legacy, to prioritize what matters most instead of the perishable things of this world. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
