This verse embodies each of our testimonies as we have accepted the free gift of salvation. Jesus washes us completely clean, and He transforms us from the inside out. We will never be the same again. The things we used to want to indulge in don’t seem as appealing anymore. We will always struggle with our sin nature, but we are not in bondage anymore. We are a new creation, and our perspective of the world has changed. This life is not about us but about bringing glory to the name of Jesus and serving others. Praise God that Jesus came so that He could lead by example and pave the way to set us completely free! We are a new creation in Christ Jesus.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for my new beginning! The past is gone, and the old man is gone. I have been redeemed and set free to live the life you intended for me from the foundations of the earth. I choose to walk in this victory, and I welcome my new nature. Holy Spirit, walk with me, teach me, guide me, and use me. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

Sit down and think about all the ways God has transformed your life. Think about all the ways He is growing you right now, and thank God for His faithfulness in how far you have come. Give Him all the glory because without Jesus coming to Earth and giving the greatest gift of all, we would never be able to find this freedom. Pray for God to show you areas that you are holding on to and allow Him to set you free!
