Our God is not just the God who restores, He is the God who gives us what we’ve never had. He is the Lord of new things! He doesn’t just want to renovate your past to give you a slightly cleaner version of the mess you were in, He wants to give you new things and a future you could never imagine. And we can have confident assurance that He will do a new thing because His Word tells us it shall spring forth.

To spring forth means to leap out or to rush out. How exciting to know that God is preparing a new thing for you, and it is going to rush out to you. Let’s rejoice with thanksgiving for the new things that are about to spring forth!

Dear Heavenly Father,

How excellent is your name in all the earth! You make all things new and you are perfect in all your ways. Thank you for the assurance that my breakthrough is on the way. I believe it will spring forth, because you are faithful and your words are trustworthy. Amen!
