Not Afraid To Go Against The Crowd

Hebrews 11:23-25 (CEV)
“Because Moses' parents had faith, they kept him hidden until he was three months old. They saw that he was a beautiful child, and they were not afraid to disobey the king's orders. Then after Moses grew up, his faith made him refuse to be called the king's grandson. He chose to be mistreated with God's people instead of having the good time that sin could bring for a little while.”
Devotion
Sin is a poison that slowly consumes the body. It often appears enticing, but it conceals a hidden agenda. As we observe our world today, we can see many things that may not initially appear significant but ultimately lead to destruction. In today's noisy world, there is a prevailing narrative that blurs the lines between right and wrong.

Moses serves as an inspiring example of someone willing to stand for what is right, even when it meant going against the crowd. His desire for a deep relationship with God took precedence over seeking the approval of man. This demonstrates that we too can choose faith over fear and stand firmly for the Truth. Along this path, we may lose things we hold dear, but we must ask ourselves: What is more valuable, a relationship with God and eternal life, or the fleeting approval of man that leads to spiritual death?

Today’s Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,

I praise You for Your faithfulness to lead me in Your ways. I ask that You give me the boldness to stand for the truth of Your Word, even when it is unpopular or I am being ridiculed for such a stance. Strengthen me with Your wisdom and anointing that I may be a witness to all with whom I come into contact each day. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
