Matthew 12:30 (NKJV)

“He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad.”

Devotion

In Pastor Franklin’s sermon this past Sunday, he had many things to teach us, as Jesus had many things to teach His disciples.

Jesus sent out His disciples then, just as He continues to send us out today, in our generations, to preach the Good News of the Kingdom.

In verse 29 of Matthew chapter 12, Jesus was all about binding the devil and his works. Subsequently, in verse 31, Jesus was all about honoring and protecting the Person of the Holy Spirit, who has not only endued us with Power, yet also His Fire, so we may also do the works Jesus commissioned us to do. Preaching the Gospel, laying hands on the sick for recovery, casting out the devils, praying and interceding for our respective countries and their leaders, that they too may come to know the Savior.

When Jesus was on this earth, He came for one reason—to do the Will of His Father. Jesus was way beyond, way past just being fond of His Father; His Father was everything to Him. His Life, His breath, His Purpose.

We, as His Church, must remain one with Jesus, one with His Father, and one with the Holy Spirit. The times are coming, and now is the time when the lines have been blurred. “Yet those who know their God shall be strong and do great exploits” (Daniel 11:32).

“Your Kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10).

What is the will of the Father on this earth, as it is in heaven? His Son.

Today's Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

Unite my heart with Yours. Help me remain steadfast in my devotion to Jesus, sensitive to the Holy Spirit, and fully surrendered to Your will. Let my life, words, and actions reflect Your Kingdom. Empower me to stand firm in my faith, boldly preach Your Gospel, and never compromise the calling You have placed on my life. May Your will be done in and through me, on earth as it is in Heaven. In the Name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
