The Life Blood Of Jesus

For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.
Leviticus 17:11

To receive forgiveness in the Old Testament, a spotless animal sacrifice was required. However, this offering could not provide the life blood they needed in order to overcome their sinful nature and live victoriously. When Jesus gave His life for our purification, He not only paved a way to Heaven, but offered so much more for our life on earth. His sacrifice provides: willpower to resist temptation, health, freedom from iniquities, peace of mind, provision, authority over the enemy and healing of relationships, especially in His design of the family unit. Once we understand the power we have through His life blood, we will live a victorious life now and for all eternity.

Today's Prayer
Dear God, thank you for sending your one and only son to be a ransom for my sins. Thank you for the victory I have in Christ. Teach me to walk in this victory as one who has been redeemed. I fix my eyes on you! The author and finisher of my faith. Amen!
