We don't need a perfect understanding of the end times prophecy to praise Jesus for the fulfillment of promises relating to the rebirth of Israel on May 14, 1948. The official recognition of the State of Israel, just 11 minutes after this miraculous rebirth, is the reason the United States lives under God's blessing today. This aligns with God's promise to Abraham, “I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse, and all the nations of the earth will be blessed through you.” (Genesis 12:3)

Salvation is from the Jews (John 4:22) and we thank and praise God for blessing all nations through the death and resurrection of Jesus.

Yet, much like our daily choice to die to ourselves and follow Jesus, we also have a daily choice to be blessed through our ongoing blessing of Israel or to incur the curses that God promised Abraham would result for whoever curses Abraham and his offspring. We don't need to sift through all the information to perfectly interpret world events to receive the blessing by faith. Are our policies, words, actions, and prayers a blessing to Israel? Then we remain under God's blessing and promise to Abraham. Are our policies, words, actions, and prayers going to bring harm or curses to Israel? Then we risk coming under God's curse as it is written.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I thank You for the privilege of witnessing Israel's rebirth and blessings in my lifetime. Thank You for strengthening my faith through the clear fulfillment of prophecy and for the opportunity to be blessed through them. I pray for the peace of Jerusalem, victory over her enemies, and the firm control of the land promised to Abraham. Show me, our nation's leaders, and the worldwide community how we can live under Your blessing by being a blessing to Abraham through Israel. Simultaneously, open the eyes of the Israelis and all Jews so that they may recognize that the true Rock of Israel is Jesus, their Messiah. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

The light of Scripture will give you wisdom regarding the information coming to you about world events. In light of His eternal promises, resolve to speak and act in a way to bring blessing from the King of the Universe.
