God is looking for people who are in unity. Satan wants to divide and conquer. We have to have the right attitude and be in unity. No divisions, no superstars, all working together like men in a row boat.

In the upper room, all the apostles were in one accord. They were waiting for the Holy Spirit to come before they could head out to spread the gospel. That is what we are supposed to be doing. We can't be fighting over small things or arguing over who should take charge. Jesus is our leader and coach and we need to keep our eyes on him.

We need to be in agreement and be willing to do whatever is needed. We are all on the same team and headed in the same direction. Together we can cross the finish line and reach our goal.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I lift up my church into your holy hands. I pray that just like the day of Pentecost, you would pour out your Spirit on us and make us one. We wait on you for fresh fire and a new direction. Revive us once again that we may worship you in Spirit and in truth. In Jesus’ name, Amen! 

Don’t be too quick to leave His presence. Wait on the Lord in prayer and receive the refreshing wind of His Spirit.
