Ephesians 2:4-5 NKJV
But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions--it is by grace you have been saved.
Devotion
God is so good. Really think about that... His love is so impressive that He assisted us into a relationship and connection with Jesus.
Don’t let the world make you think you have to “do” something in order to be saved. That you have to serve, give, etc., in order to be accepted. While these are good things, it is God and God alone who saves us. His magnificent love and sympathetic consciousness of us are truly what prompts us to Jesus.
If you're having doubts or even second-guessing His love for you, take a couple of minutes alone to meditate on His love. Praise Him for how good He is and how good He's been to you.
Today's Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for always keeping Your eyes on me. Thank You so much for even giving me the chance to be in a relationship with You. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
Apply It Today
It’s time to close the door on the voices of the past and open up the door to your new identity in Christ. Look at yourself in the mirror and declare who you are, a new creation in Christ Jesus.
